In Yunnan, many ethnic groups use wine as a medium to sing songs and convey emotions through songs, making wine songs an important part of folk songs. In the second chapter “Jade Wine Joyful Song”, the singer sings four wine songs, leading everyone into the daily lives of the Miao, Hani, and Yi people, experiencing the boldness and enthusiasm from the inside out.

In the third chapter “The Sound of Yuyunxi”, the singer passionately performed songs such as “I’m Waiting for You in Yuxi”, “Rice Noodles Singing”, “Eating Fungi, Come to Yimen”, “Oranges Are Red”, etc., leading the audience to experience the beautiful scenery and delicious food of Yuxi through their singing.

The event on that day was themed “Singing Yunnan Folk Songs as a Family of the Chinese Nation” and was hosted by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. It was organized by the Propaganda Department of the Yuxi Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the United Front Work Department of the Yuxi Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (Yuxi Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau), aiming to inherit and promote excellent traditional Chinese culture, enrich the cultural life of grassroots people, and explore the integration and development of folk song culture and festival tourism.
